How can we resolve the problem if an angioplasty claim is rejected, saying that consumption of smoke was the reason? I was a occasional smoker .

I think You should go for additional check-up to see whether your consumption of smoke was upto a certain threshold or not because there are no clear terms on which the company can reject the claims for the smokers. Although the clauses are almost same for both the smokers and non-smokers for the policies
