What is maximum time period to submit post hospitalization supplementary claim?

If insured gets admitted in the network hospital, gets cashless treatment and discharged.  But, he continue take treatment as OPD patient as recommended by the Doctor.  As per the policy upto 180 days post hospitalization treatment can be taken.  Post hospitalization treatment may continue longer or may complete before 180 days.  Now, question is--

Can the post hospitalization claim be submitted in parts as and when insured visits for the treatment? 

What is maximum time period to submit post hospitalization supplementary claim?

Hi,

Post Hospitalization expenses can be paid upto 180 days or as mentioned in your policy terms and conditions. Expenses incurred during the 180 days post hospitalization would be only covered and its best to submit the claim at the earliest. It can be claimed as and when the treatment is undertaken.

Dear Sir , 

The Post hospitalisation claim can be submitted in parts as an when the insured visit the hospital this claim can be submitted anytime after the hospitalisation

However in case of prolonged  delay in submission of the claim , the claim shall be accepted provided that the same is  justified with proper reason and documentation .
