Does MRI scan is covered in HDFC ERGO Accidental insurance policy?

Amol, If the MRI/CT scan is part of the treatment for the Hospitalization, then those expenses are payable with the hospitalization expenses.  

But if the MRI/CT scan is done only for reports and no hospitalization is there then the expenses are not covered.

May I know the logic that a ligament injurity requries 24hrs of hospitilazation? Can you prove this?
