There are two types of Claims- Cashless Claim wherein the customer gets hospitalized in a network hospital and Re-imbursement Claim wherein the customer post hospitalization submits his bills for payment.

 

In case of a hospitalization in a network hospital, the Cashless Claim is generally registered by the hospital representative.

 

In case of a Re-imbursement Claim, you may register a claim by calling the toll free number mentioned in the policy document or on the Health card provided by your Insurer or you may even write to their e-mail ID. The details are generally mentioned on the policy document and the health card or you may also get this information from the company's website.

 

In both the scenarios, you would receive a Unique Claim number which you must make a note of to enable tracking your claim status with the Insurer.
