You were struck by another car. You're not found at fault.

You were struck by another car. You're not found at fault. When you file your insurance claim, can the insurance company of the at-fault grant you a check instead (amount of estimate) of choosing a repair shop of their choice to get your car fixed?

Hi,

The faulter's insurance company will definitely pay the repair cost for your vehicle damage.

Incase they deny to pay the compensation then you can contact your insurance company to get the settlement from the faulter's insurance by subrogate.

They should pay for getting your car fixed at the shop of your choice. If you are having trouble with the at fault driver's insurance company call your own company and they should be able to assist you to make the process easier and less of a hassle. In some cases they will pay the claim and subrogate against the other company if they aren't cooperating.
