The Travel policy only covers for FLIGHT DELAY due to following conditions 

1. delay or cancellation of the Insured Person's booked and confirmed flight.
2. late arrival of the Insured Person's connecting flight causing the Insured
Person to miss his or her onward connection.
3. or a late arrival (of more than 1 hour) of public transport causing the Insured Person to miss the flight

Hence,any missed flight due to bad whether is not covered under this policy . We request you to refer the policy wording for further details .
