Even I recieved a call from hdfc ergo third party( saying that tied uo with Bharti Axa) to claim the amount
I didn’t believe them because they asked me to pay 22700 to claim the amount.
However my question is is it true??
I had a loan and had hdfc ergo insurance with it
This seems to fake call?pl.guide.

I received the call and faced the same story. After making a payment of 50k, he asked me to make a payme t of 37000 as GST for the amount to get disbursed. I told I cannot make anymore payments, so I was informed the amount will get disbursed by year end closure in March..Till date i have been informed that the amount will be disbursed post paying the GST amt of 30000 rupees or the policy renewal again.

I received a similar call today. Surprisingly, they had my complete HDFC policy details( from 2014), contact number and Address. I received call from +918860521378. I found something was suspicious and decided to hang up the call and search in the internet.
Anyways, I have sent an email to HDFC ergo care team. Hopefully, they control data theft and act on these kind of cases.

I have received a similar call today. They were having name of atleast 10 office colleagues. I was suspicius that how NCB of term plan is possible. Suprisingly they were having data of our hdfc ergo group policies from 2015. Call came from +91-8506943771. I threatened them to file police complain if they call again.
Hdfc ergo must take strong measure to save its costumer's data.

I have been asked to close HDFC ERGO Medical Policy and port the policy with Bharati Axa Life Insurance by an third party agent Mr. Rana with Phone No.+911409305543 and 9582814158. They told to send the following documents for porting the policy with Bharati Axa Life Insurance to email id Service.firstname.lastname@example.org
2) PAN Card
3) Aadhar Card
4) Cancelled Cheque
I have been pressurised to send the documents for almost 10 days. On enquiry, I have been informed by my HDFC Ergo Agent that let them transfer Rs.1,15,750/- No Claim Bonus into your Account and then port the policy with the link send by the third party agent.
For HDFC ERGO Medical Policies, No Claim Bonus cannot be claimed. At Max, HDFC ERGO may facilitate free Preventive Health Checkup with recognised Diagnostic Centres with Rs.5,000/- coupon once in 3 years. No other benefit will be provided if no claim is raised except Sec.80D Income Tax Deduction from Taxable Income.
In this COVID Pandemic fraudusters are trapping Customers by telling HDFC ERGO is siphoning NCB if Customers are not claiming NCB. Don't be trapped with the third party agents. No NCB is refundable except adjusted to Sum Assured.

HDFC ERGO No Claim Bonus Scam
I received call today 20/2/2021 and the scammers impressed me by saying my address and i had old closed insurance with HDFC Ergo. They have some partial details of my old HDFC ERGO policy.
Some interesting things they asked.
Scam Manager was Mr.Nikhil Rana, email id email@example.com, phone 1409305543, 8929110498, 9582814158, 9582199428 for RBL credit card scam.
Claim amount was 99000, problem they are saying is its locked with Agent Code. To unlock Agent Codes two modes are there, continous mode
non continous mode. Continous mode will required bharatia axa insurance with Rs.22000 payment and non continous mode requires Rs.500.
Asked for height and weight, which will help them to know my BMI and they will know I am fit or not to disburse the amount and proceed with non contiunous mode policy.
They wanted Photo, Pan card, Aadhar card, Cancel Cheque. to continue their fr@ud process.
Next stage will be the money transfer.
So beware. This is a scam based on some details you had with HDFC Ergo, large number of people are working in these type of scam call centers. There is no unclaimed bonus or agent code locked. If you have lost the money please report to nearest cyber cell with details like phone numbers, sms received numbers, sms details, phone call recording.
