In most health policies, the option you get is to either change sum Insured / policy tenure or deleting of the optional cover. If you reduce the sum Insured or policy tenure, the premium would reduce, but this will impact your health coverage.

The benefits available under Basic Cover cannot be eliminated or reduced.However, you can choose from the optonal and add ons covers. Accordingly the premium will be calculated.
