For my daughter's delivery, we opted for a single room. The insurance is refusing the pay. Why?

For my daughter's delivery, we opted for a single room instead of a twin sharing one. The insurance company is refusing the pay. Why

Re: refusal of payment

Check your policy. In case it has room rent sublimit clause, the insurance company will make only proportional payment.

Re: refusal of payment

Most probably because your claim exceeded the maximum amount you are eligible for. Check your policy details to see if you exceeded individual components

Re: refusal of payment

If your policy mentions a limit for room rent and your expense is above that, then insurance company will not pay the full amount.

Check the terms and condition of your Policy. There will be certain limit upto which your insurance Company will pay and the extra amount have to be payed by you.
