At the time of buying a health insurance you need to provide details of the illnesses you have suffered during your lifetime. Insurance Company then refer it to their medical panel to differentiate between pre-existing or newly contracted diseases.

At the time of buying health policy, insurance company will ask you to fill up a proposal form containing medical questionnaire and go for medical health Check-up which will decide that whether you have any pre existing disease or not.
