I'm advised for a knee replacement Surgery. Will That be covered under my Health Insurance Policy?

Generally, knee replacement surgery  or any joint replacement won't be covered unless other treatments which your doctor has prescribed or recommended have not helped your condition.

If you have health insurance and it’s a doctor-recommended procedure, you are likely to be covered for your knee replacement surgery. You will be required to cover the stipulated co-pay and meet all deductibles before the insurance company kicks in with its share of payments. Be sure you talk to your health insurance company before scheduling your knee replacement surgery so you know ahead of time what your costs will likely be. Generally there is a waiting period applicable for Joint Replacement Surgeries.
