Multiple health plans

I have taken two health plans of rupees two lakh each from different providers. My hospitalisation expenses are likely to cross three and a half lakhs. Can I combine both the policies?

Re: Multiple health plans

Yes, you can claim from both the companies. But the total claim can not be more than the total expenses

Yes you can combine both the Policies, but companies  will pay in proportion of the total expenses and also total claim should not be more than the total Expenses.

Re: Multiple health plans

Health insurance being indemnity based policy, insured cannot make profit out of the policy. Hence both the companies will apply the contribution clause and make payment as per their eligibility.
