Should I consider the claim settlement ratio of the insurance company in addition to the pricing? I have just bough an apartment that I wish to insure.

Do not go merely by the pricing. Do take in account the company's track record, claim settlement ratio, customer feedback, kind of policy, discount offered etc before you choose.
