Transfer of motor insurance policy

What is the legal requisite to purchase the motor insurance policy & can the insurar sell the same on the basis of NOC with the name of new owner which is shown in the NOC?

Transfer of vehicle is done by the Customer Support Team of Insurer. 

You will have to call on the toll free no and ask them for requisites for the transfer.

They will ask few details like Name and Number and Address of New Owner. Also The  RC Transfer Date. 

Just make sure that you contact the insurer within 14 days of Transfer of RC, otherwise Inspection of vehicle will be needed
