Does Reinstatement concept prevelant in General Insurance as well?  How do i reinstate private car policy?

Usually, an extended warranty is not offered for private car.

In guess, reinstatement is prevalent under the Home Policy, but not for a private car policy.

As I understand, if you claim for partial loss under the private car policy, it does not effect the Insured Declared Value.
