There are a number of optional add ons available in the market which widens the existing scope of coverage provided by a Motor Comprehensive policy.
"Cost of consumables" is one such rider available which pays the costs of consumables like lubricants, oil filters, nuts, bolts etc which have a one time use and is excluded under a base comprehensive policy. Insurers offer this add on at the time of new policy purchase or at subsequent renewals. It may not be possible to include such add on's in mid term of the policy.
