I am due for renewal of my auto insurance. I have not made any claims in the last 2 years. Will I get NCB even if I change the insurer

Usually,if no claims are made, and the policy is renewed with a different insurer, the insurer would renew with the next slab of NCB as per eligibility.

Since No Claim Bonus is offered to a policyholder and not to a vehicle, it can be moved for the sake of the present vehicle proprietor whom he or she can utilize while buying protection against any new vehicle.

One of the biggest benfits of Motor Insurance is the convenience with which you can change your Insurance Company. Which means that if you do not like the services of your existing insurer, you can simply renew your policy with your preferred insurer by submitting only your previous year policy / renewal notice. Also, the Renewal benfits that you have earned with your previous insurer like No Claim bonus, will get automtically transferred to the new policy. Make sure you provide the correct details of your previous policy because the new insurer will verify your NCB eligibility with your previous insurer.
