I'm policy holder of HDFC Ergo.
I would like to add top up to my existing medical policy as well as riders to it.
As life is uncertain so is different deceases. We have to be ready with any emergency.

I would love to have dental related cover along with emergency related benefit. I am willing to pay extra but it should be reasonable.

Sleep apnoea is often a reason for rejecting the proposal. Diagnosed and treated sleep apnoea should not be a reason to reject a proposal and sleep apnoea can be a new cover.

Life is all about keeping it simple and calm.To keep life simple and calm one should be very clear.When it comes to insurance and that too health insurance gone.Simple,Calm all these things are gone and you feel tensed,worried because of so many exclusion,terms and conditions.Yes i understand companies need to run business and to get profit companies need to have huge list of terms n conditions n exclusions.
Well how about a policy which will be simple and calm like no exclusions at all.We pay all hospital expenditure no exclusions at all.Come up with a premium which makes sure business profit as well as policyholders calmness.For an exception come up with this policy.

Health Policies including yours sound very attractive but its implementation especially when we are in the hospital waiting for approval and final clearance needs to be improved drastically. The process should be clear and when we speak of empanelled hospitals there should be minimum time. Include all types of illness even just OPD should be included though this might sound foolish, the presentation of your card should be sufficient up to an amount say Rs.5000 which can be decided by you. It's like pre-paid credit card stuff.

A policy cover should also include normal doctor's visit with atleast 1 visit per member covering claims for consultation & medicines except pre & post hospitalisation.
