Re: Tell us what newer covers you would like to have in your health insurance policies

A very good question, following newer covers can be added to ensure your customer will be with you for ever - even after his death.

1. Due to long illness/hospitalizaton an employee exhausts his entire leaves and sometimes even more. Due to more leaves many organisations dont pay the monthly salary which creates even more bigger problems. HDFC ERGO can think of this cover.

2. Cover on some Ayurvedic treatments.

3. Overseas treatment covers.

It may be a difficult idea but for some it will be fulfledge plan which they certianly go for.

Regards

cover normal opd for all members even its not hospitalisation case. Most of time we face some illness for which we don't need to admit but illiness is not that small which can be covered in short amount. That's why insurance company need to give helping hand in those situations also. Amount cap and no of visits cap you can decide but this kind of thing shall allow.

Re: Tell us what newer covers you would like to have in your health insurance policies

Essentially, short-term health insurance is intended to provide coverage for three medical scenarios: doctor office visits, emergency care and hospitalization. Like traditional medical insurance, you may be required to pay a copayment, deductible or coinsurance to receive benefits.

With some policies, you may be limited to specific in-network doctors and providers. In those cases, the insurer often has negotiated rates with those providers for their services.

Not exactly to be added in your insurance policy only thing I want you people to change is people's attitude. Every employee of your insurance company tries to look up for flaws or incorrect name or something like your name is mentioned in our portal as first name last name but your document proves that last name first name. Person is in-front of you. What else is required? Approve and give the reimbursement to that person.

Comprehansive health care policy should include part covers for medical and consultant fees

( including tests and medicines ) for non - hospitalisation treatment for illness like depression,

mental fatigue and disorder , dimentia , alzimer, parkinson, mysthenia gravis etc.  in senior citizens over 70 years.

Re: Tell us what newer covers you would like to have in your health insurance policies

Instead of just hospitalisation cover, my suggestion would be to offer a policy that provides complete healthcare including cover for routine health checks, doctor's consultation fees, prescription medicines, etc. with a good aim of making a healthier Bharat. This will eventually help you keep your costs down by way of providing cure before the problem gets bigger.
