Pre-approval for surgery

I am in Dubai with my family for a holiday and my son has to be admitted for an appendicitis surgery. Do I need pre approval for hospitalization?

For emergency hospitalisations, you do not need pre approvals. However pls check the exclusions clause of your policy to ensure appendicities is not excluded
