misplaced baggage

While on a group tour of USA, my checked in baggage was misplaced by the carrier and I was put to a lot of inconvenience. Can I claim compensation under loss of baggage ?

You will be reimbursed as per delay of checked in baggage and not loss.

You can claim from the airlines and in the USA, in fact, they will be too happy to compensate you for this as otherwise they might face a law suit. Your insurance plan also covers this
